Fly Tyers Weekend
October 27 & 28
Little River Outfitters, Townsend, TN
Little Rivers Outfitters will have a 40' x 80' tent set up on their store property where the fly tyers will be demonstrating from 9 am - 5 pm both days. There are heaters on reserve if the weather turns cool. There will be no admission charge either day. They are expecting more than 40 fly tyers. Many tie trout flies; others tie warmwater flies; and a saltwater fisherman or two will be demonstrating. Mike Kesselring will be on hand with his extensive collection of flies. Food will be available on site for purchase from Casting for Recovery. Money raised from food sales will go to fund their events.

Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival

January 12-13
Meadow Event Park, Doswell (Richmond), VA
Festival attendees listen to lectures from various experts and practice hands-on skills at the two-day, family-friendly event. Several wineries from throughout the Old Dominion provide free wine tastings for those 21 and older. All vendors are under roof in the Farm Bureau building, yet the events center is surrounded by extensive grounds suitable for outdoor classes and the casting pond.
