Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival

January 13-14
Meadow Event Park, Doswell (Richmond), VA
Festival attendees listen to lectures from various experts and practice hands-on skills at the two-day, family-friendly event. Several wineries from throughout the Old Dominion provide free wine tastings for those 21 and older. All vendors are under roof in the Farm Bureau building, yet the events center is surrounded by extensive grounds suitable for outdoor classes and the casting pond. Doswell is just a few miles north of Richmond. 9 am - 5 pm. 13191 Dawn Blvd., Doswell, Ga 23047.

Infinite Energy Center, Duluth (Atlanta), GA
Programs, seminars, classes, featured fly tiers, casting demos and special events make this a great 2-day show for the Southeast. The Center is north of Atlanta at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway (I-85).

Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventures

April 28
Downtown City Park, Blue Ridge, GA
The Official Trout Festival of Georgia brings together fishermen, river sports enthusiasts and outdoor recreation fans and their families for a weekend of fishing demos by guides, a breakout marketplace, seminars, beer garden, live music, silent auction, and food trucks. Friday night fundraiser high country boil at Mercier Orchards, 5:30 - 9 pm. Saturday marketplace & seminars, 10 am - 7 pm at the Park.

South River Fly Fishing Expo

April 21-22
Waynesboro, VA
9 am - 5 pm each day on the banks of the South River. Stream presentations of techniques and kayak fly fishing setups, speakers, demos, vendors, food and drink. $10 for adults; children 15 and under free. All proceeds will fund the South River Fishery and revitalize downtown Waynesboro.
