Project Smoky Mountain Rebirth

In support of Gatlinburg, TN that was so affected by the November 2016 wildfires, Chad Fouts, guide and manager of Smoky Mountain Angler in Gatlinburg, has organized a series of events to benefit National Guard, firemen, first responders, residents and volunteers, as well as Smoky Mountain Angler (this fly shop was directly affected by the fire). Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival

April 8-9
Meadow Event Park, Doswell (Richmond), VA
Festival attendees listen to lectures from various experts and practice hands-on skills at the two-day, family-friendly event. Several wineries from throughout the Old Dominion provide free wine tastings for those 21 and older. All vendors are under roof, yet the events center is surrounded by extensive grounds suitable for outdoor classes and wine tastings. Doswell is just a few miles north of Richmond.

Trout Unlimited Southeast Regional Meeting

Glenstone Lodge, Gatlinburg, TN
Hosted fishing day on Friday, April 21 with reception and film in the evening. Saturday will include all day conversations and seminars and an evening BBQ. Sunday is half-day seminars and recap. Hosted by Tennessee TU State Council. Glenstone Lodge is located at 504 Historic Nature Trail in Gatlinburg.

Blue Ridge Trout Festival & Outdoor Adventures

The Official Trout Festival of Georgia brings together fishermen, river sports enthusiasts and outdoor recreation fans and their families for a weekend of fishing demos by guides, a breakout marketplace, seminars, beer garden, live music, silent auction, and food trucks. Friday night fundraiser high country boil at Mercier Orchards, 5:30 - 9 pm. Saturday marketplace & seminars, 10 am - 7 pm at the Park.
